Role & Culture Fit
Role Fit, Team Dynamic, Aligned Purpose
Before any other development can truly be effective, we need to make sure that everyone on your team fits with the team culture, and the specific role they're playing on that team. Use workshop modules from this category to drive better engagement and commitment from your team.
Eri Yamada ran the workshop Pursuing Bigger Dips in April 2013
"Pursuing Bigger Dips opened an amazing discussion with my team about the daily tasks and meetings that we get tied up in that just aren’t worth their weight. As a team we discussed each tasks value, potential and RIO and were able to collectively eliminate some activities that just weren't worth the effort when compared to the results. Fantastic time management tool!"
Productivity, Time Management, Planning
Self Management is about getting your house in order. Teach your team how to be more productive, better manage their time and plan effectively. Self Management modules increase productivity and minimize over-budget, overtime projects.
Carol Stuart ran the workshop The Mental Warrior in March 2013
"Staff came to the workshop prepared and ready for some indepth discussion. Irene had even read the book! Some great discussion ensued and we all collectively agreed to "Stop taking things personally". Agreed it would be difficult but all make a decision to perfect that 'agreement'. The team put a lot of thought (and made notes) about how they their week would be different if they knew they had only one week to live. Let's see how this plays out. Note: Staff are already more spiritual than most. They loved the workshop! Found it to be "deep"."
Clarity, Empathy, Influence
One of the biggest causes of office tension and internal error is a lack of strong communication. The workshops in this category include lessons and exercises on clarity in speaking, empathetic listening, universal sales development, and an entry into Social Media.
Angela Abdallah ran the workshop Make Your Mark in May 2013
"I modified the discussion a bit to fit our specific needs and I think that was the right approach as it resulted in some excellent discussion about relationship building...eliminating the "us vs. them" mentality...and finding ways to present win/win scenarios when asking for (or offering) assistance. Overall, great response from the team."
Peer-to-Peer Interaction, Accountability, Collaboration
Your employees don't work in a vacuum. They need to be able to work collaboratively in a team environment. Lead your team through interactive modules on collaboration, accountability, and more.
Corinne Radake ran the workshop Breathe. Focus. in March 2013
"Hi. Unfortunately, I wasn't a big fan of the workshop for a couple of reasons. I felt that the "professional maturity" title of the workshop didn't reflect the actual work. I felt the workshop was a bit too religiously focused. For example, I would not ask my staff to consider "fasting" or "prayer/meditation" as a way of fighting their foes. I also felt that some of the exercises were very personal and not for a professional team building exercise. I will try something else again -- but this time I will be more selective in my choice."
Idea Generation, Supporting Change, Micro-innovation
Innovative Thinking is a requirement of the 21st century, and growing in necessity. As a business leader, you need a team of people who are curious, open to change, and willing to make mistakes. Innovative Thinking modules will drive change in your business.
Janice Brose ran the workshop The Chipping Process (The Angel Inside) in July 2012
"One of my girls, who is very anti team-building talks, so I was a bit concerned about going in. After the session, however, she was SO excited about the training, and had decided that she would now like to start recruiting!!! WOW 100% turnaround!!! All the girls said that they really enjoyed it and it was really eye opening!! "
Trust, Team-Centric, Peer Leadership
If you want to develop a team of independent, innovative thinkers who work well as a team, you need to develop leaders. Teach your team members how to "lead without title", think like an owner, and put the successes of others above their own.
Andrea Fraser ran the workshop Tangible Dreams in April 2013
"To help kickstart the dream process, I created a bank of dream thought-starters for staff to pick from before they go for a spring walk at lunchtime. I encouraged them to go with a friend and share their ideas."
