WHO ARE YOU?
I’m a curious connector of people and ideas. I crave learning new things and invoking a creative twist to my methods. By day, I work as an engineer, general problem solver (and recently video producer) at the Boeing company as I fight the status quo and start movements, but after work I hang out with entrepreneur and rabble-rouser types online (like this group.) I’m developing my own platform of make-you-think topics, currently exploring curiosity as a skill and way to improve your life. But my most important work is building a happy family with my wife and 4 kids.

WHERE ARE YOU (GEOGRAPHICALLY)?
Everett, Washington (30 min. North of Seattle)

WHAT DO YOU DO?
I’ve been an engineer at Boeing for 16 years, working in a variety of organizations within the Commercial Airplanes division, and also worked virtually for the Defense and Space business unit for a time. Currently I’m in the core Engineering Operations division supporting Commercial Airplanes and making a ruckus.

WHY DID THE ACTIONABLE BOOK CLUB RESONATE WITH YOU?
I love learning new concepts and ideas from business books, but I also know that most of the information just goes into my overall pile of knowledge, and may surface somewhere in a conversation, but mostly gets tucked away in the corners of my mind like an old storage unit no one ever checks on. So I’m really looking forward to taking action and being able to point to some outcomes or improvements in my life that are directly related to the stuff I’m learning in books. It’s actually using that old bicycle or chess game in the storage closet.
