Thanks for checking out my author page and my first book, New Sales. Simplified. I’m a sales coach, consultant, speaker and author on a mission to simplify sales. My specialty is new business development my passion is helping salespeople, sales leaders and professional services executives acquire new customers and increase sales.

Transplanted New Yorker who has called St. Louis home for 20 years. I’m blunt, direct and simple in my approach to life and sales. People who’ve read New Sales. Simplified say it’s a refreshing change and often funny as I point out how salespeople and senior executives sabotage their own new business development efforts. I tell it like I see it and have no problem calling out the false teachers in the “Sales 2.0 Movement” or senior executives whose unclear business strategy or anti-sales culture make it impossible for a sales team to succeed.

I was mentored by dad, who’s a sales genius, and was always a vice president of sales at some big-name company, and by Danny Abraham, the founder and CEO of Slim-Fast Foods. Danny let me do crazy things like buy and manage his Gulfstream business jet and he entrusted the Wal-Mart account to me at the end of 25. I’ve been the top-producing salesperson in several organizations and have sold everything from Slim-Fast to plastic components, direct mail marketing programs, consulting services and web-based learning management systems. I love business and I love sales.

When not coaching, consulting or speaking by day, or writing my book by night, I can be found at a local ball field watching my boys play or my daughter cheerlead. I’m a fan of grace, European cars, the St. Louis Cardinals, the NFL, NY Pizza and the California coastline.
